On 1st August 2024, Elite Franchise Canada will proudly launch the Elite Franchise 100 (EF100) league table. Originally founded in the UK in 2017, this esteemed ranking will now honour the crème de la crème of Canadian franchises. The EF100 shines a light on the outstanding performance and significant contributions of franchises based on a comprehensive range of metrics, from impressive growth rates to impactful community engagement.
On the 17th July Elite Franchise hosted a pre-entry virtual meeting for franchisors to learn about entering the Elite Franchise 100 League Table and crafting a winning submission. Larry Weinberg, General Counsel of the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) and one of the Elite Franchise 100 judges, said, “The EF100 league table is a fantastic new platform to recognize excellence in Canadian franchising. In conjunction with securing a place in the coveted top 100, participants are also invited to a glamorous black-tie awards ceremony in early 2025, where they stand a chance to win special recognition amongst their peers. These include Sustainable Business of the Year, Innovation of the Year, Community Builder of the Year and Diversity & Inclusion of the Year Awards. “These awards acknowledge outstanding marketing innovation, commend the impressive achievements of new franchisors and celebrate extraordinary contributions to the franchise community,” added Scott.
The entries open for Canada’s first EF100 open on Thursday 1st August and will close on the 30th September. Finalists will be announced on 10th January 2025 and the EF100 Celebration & Awards evening will be taking place on Wednesday 26th February 2025 at Toronto’s historic event venue, The Carlu.
