Before starting his own practice, Rashesh was an in-house lawyer for the City of Hamilton. During his tenure, he managed legal matters for the $500 million Hamilton Waterfront redevelopment projects, the City’s facilities, and the Recreation Division. His responsibilities included negotiating and drafting commercial leases, licenses, management agreements, procurement contracts, and more.
Rashesh completed his articles at Cassels, a leading Bay Street firm. There, he focused on litigation, corporate law, municipal law, and real estate. His work involved high-profile cases including a $9 billion merger of two international companies and major product liability class actions.
