For it’s inaugural year, Pizza Pizza has been crowned the number one franchise in Canada. The leader and innovator in the quick service restaurant industry continues to stand out amid fierce competition across various industries, securing this coveted position for the first time.

The top five franchises of 2025 include A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. taking second place, Boston Pizza in third, McDonald’s securing fourth and Mary Brown’s rounding out the top five. These franchises exemplify the adaptability, strength and innovative thinking required to succeed in today’s competitive market.
