British Swim School, Hasbro and Peppa Pig join forces to launch Water Safety Initiative.

British Swim School, which is North America’s leading swim franchise, is teaming-up with Hasbro and Peppa Pig to promote safer swimming among youngsters. Peppa Pig has become an institution in the UK where pre-school children have grown up watching the animated television series over the past couple of decades.

And now the character will be used in a campaign that combines the educational values of British Swim School, with the fun and engaging family members of the Peppa Pig TV series.

Peppa Pig even made the UK’s national headlines in November 2021, when the former Prime Minister Boris Johnson referred to the character during a speech to the CBI (Confederation of British Industry) which went horribly wrong.

With regards to this new initiative Ashley Gundlach, the President of British Swim School, said: “By teaming-up with Hasbro and Peppa Pig, we’re adding an extra sprinkle of fun to an essential message about swim safety.

“Kids love Peppa Pig, and we want to make learning about water safety enjoyable. It’s about creating happy memories, sparking creativity and, most importantly, emphasizing the importance of swimming skills.

“Our goal is to make every lesson a joyful and safe experience for families. We’re growing quickly across the United States and Canada, and we are confident that this new initiative will be a huge success.”

This new campaign will feature a range of exciting elements, including sweepstakes and engaging activity packs, while emphasizing the importance of water safety for young children.

Participants, during a dedicated week of lessons, will have the opportunity to win the grand prize which is an all-expenses’ paid trip to Peppa Pig Theme Park in Florida. The winner will also enjoy three months of free lessons with British Swim School

There will be five runner-up prizes too, with recipients receiving one month of free swim lessons, along with a Peppa Pig prize pack. Julia Moody, Director of Marketing at British Swim School, explained: “We’re committed to making swimming not only safe but also enjoyable for everyone.

“By teaming-up with Hasbro and Peppa Pig, we’re able to emphasize that swimming should be a fun and exciting adventure for children of all ages. Together, we’re making a splash in promoting the joy of swimming while instilling crucial water safety skills.”
