In Sutton, brother Muhammad Unain and Muhammad Raheel are bringing their engineering backgrounds together, while Rhys Pring is already out on the road with his new Cardiff operation, putting his years of technical and customer service experience to work.

For Muhammad Unain, whose background includes working as a field service engineer, the opportunity represented a natural next step. “I already had experience, so I could bring those skills with me from day one. The difference was having the chance to put them into something of our own and have much more control over where we take it.

“The training was super thorough and added to what we already knew, giving us a strong introduction to all things Pacifica Local. Our attention now is on getting established in Sutton, winning customers and becoming known locally.”

Muhammad Raheel brings his experience in electrical engineering to the new venture. “Having the freedom to make our own decisions really appealed to us. We can set our ambitions for Sutton and work towards them, while having Pacifica Local’s appliance repair experience to draw on along the way.

“As we gain momentum, we want to develop relationships and explore different opportunities across the area  –  including working with property management companies.”

Rhys Pring launches in Cardiff

Several weeks into trading, Rhys Pring is already making his mark on his new territory. “I know Cardiff, Caerphilly and this part of South Wales really well, so I want Pacifica Local to become a name people here trust. Longer term, the ambition is to grow and put additional vans on the road.”

Rhys was attracted to Pacifica Local’s combination of independence and established industry experience. “Being in charge of my own schedule and having responsibility for the whole area was a big attraction. There is a real sense of ownership because the reputation you create and the relationships you develop are yours.

“I also know I can pick up the phone and speak to people who understand the industry whenever I need advice. It means I can get on with growing the business, knowing that all the support I need is there to draw on when I need it.”

The latest openings come around a year after Pacifica Local launched its franchise opportunity, offering technically minded and commercially ambitious people a route to establishing their own appliance repair operation in their local area.

Lee Garland, Head of Franchising at Pacifica Local, said, “It is brilliant to welcome Muhammad Unain, Muhammad Raheel and Rhys to the network. They have got the skills, drive, and local ambition we look for – there is a lot of potential in both Sutton and Cardiff.

“A year into our franchise journey, it is great to see new territories taking shape and franchise partners putting their own ambitions into action. We’re excited about what comes next and about welcoming more ambitious franchise partners as we continue to expand across the UK.”
