Having worked as both a real estate investor and a licensed agent, Anthony Chimekwene gained valuable experience in property management, client relations, and business development. In addition to his real estate career, he also managed short-term rental properties, further sharpening his attention to detail, customer service skills, and operational efficiency.
Why choose JDI Cleaning Services?

Growth story
Its ongoing growth story certainly captured the attention of TrussPoint Equity Partners, the Toronto-based private equity firm, when TrussPoint acquired a controlling in the company back in 2022 from its founders, Joe Imbrogno and John Simpson. Imbrogno and Simpson retained minority ownership.
Meanwhile, in early 2025, the company, with TrussPoint’s support, expanded into the United States by acquiring SparkleTeam, a U.S.-based cleaning franchise.
Noteworthy too is that the company was named as a recipient of the Franchisees’ Choice Designation in April 2024, during the Awards Gala Dinner at the 2024 Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) National Convention in Montreal, Quebec. Also for the EF100 2025 honours list, where not only did they successfully make the ranking but won the EF100 Sustainability of the Year Award.
Thumbs-up from franchisees
The Franchisees’ Choice Designees are CFA member franchise brands who voluntarily took part in an independently administered survey. Franchisees were asked to assess their franchisor in key areas of the franchise business model, including the franchisee selection process, franchisee information package, leadership, business planning and marketing, training, and support, as well as ongoing operations and the relationship between the franchisor and franchisee.
