Founded in 2002 on passion, professionalism and a drive to provide the best start in life to our swimmers, Water Babies constantly revises and improves its programs with experience and science in mind. Our model emphasizes low overheads and start-up costs, which makes owning and operating a swim school accessible. We provide extensive training, so anyone with the right attitude and drive can open a business that helps people and helps them achieve financial freedom.

We use these guiding principles along with our franchisees to create businesses that are connected to their communities, helping children develop, building families, and enabling franchisees realise their dreams.
By specialising in carer and child lessons for children between the ages of 0 and 5, we can concentrate and give the absolute best lesson possible. This allows us to not only charge a premium for our lessons, but our customers love us, with great reviews and an NPS of 64 (anything over 50 is great) in 2025.
We offer world class training in all aspects of running a Water Babies business.
- Aquatics training starts with the same training all our Water Babies teachers get (approximately 150 hours of training), plus ongoing developmental training after launch for new roles, like learning to mentor aquatics staff or dipping babies in front of the camera for our underwater photoshoots.
- We cover every aspect of running a business in our training, as our franchisees tend to be first time entrepreneurs. We cover Pools, HR, Marketing, Finance, Administration, Health and Safety, among others.
We have a comprehensive system that gives new franchisees everything they need to launch, with marketing assets, a customer management system, and lots of time saving external supports (such as managing internet ads, an HR advice line, insurance and accounting professionals) that we already have in place so you don’t have to re-invent the wheel.
