A robust franchise partner training program includes online and in-person components. Good Earth commits to ensuring franchisees are prepared to operate a successful coffeehouse. Their team supports the commissioning and opening process, ensuring a smooth launch. Good Earth offers ongoing support through menu development, supply chain management, training programs, marketing, and more, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Investment: A Good Earth franchised coffeehouse typically requires a total investment of approximately $385,000 to a maximum of $700,000 (exclusive of GST). This includes the $35,000 franchise fee.
Royalties & Marketing Fees: Royalties are remitted weekly at a rate of 7% of gross sales. The National Marketing Fund contribution is made on a weekly basis at the rate of 3% of gross sales. Royalties and Marketing Fees provide for Ongoing use of Good Earth Cafes Ltd. Trademarks and Operating System, Operational Field Support, Purchasing and Distribution Program, Product Research and Development, Menu and Supply Chain Management, Performance Analytics, Ongoing Training Programs, National Marketing Program, Local Marketing Guidance, Third Party Platform management, and more.
Funding Support: Financing is generally available through Canadian lending institutions by way of a Small Business Loan. Good Earth Cafes Ltd. looks for candidates with a minimum of 30% of the total in cash to invest in the business.
Training: The Good Earth Training Program equips franchise partners with the skills and knowledge you need to operate a Good Earth Coffeehouse. The 5-week program is a combination of online and in-person sessions. The cost of the Training Program is included in the franchise fee, other than travel-related expenses.
