Mary MacDonald, CFE is a seasoned education and learning development professional with over two decades of experience creating impactful programs and fostering professional growth. As Head of Education at the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA), Mary leverages her expertise to design and implement effective learning initiatives that drive industry advancement, leading all educational programming across the CFA, including management of the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) Program in Canada. Mary also helms the Educational Advisory Committee and the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, among others.

Mary is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) whose work reflects a strong commitment to advancing knowledge, supporting professional development, and strengthening the Canadian franchise community.

Previously, Mary held leadership roles as Director of Learning and Development at the Creative Language-Based Learning Foundation, overseeing literacy and numeracy programs benefiting thousands of students across Jamaica. She also managed international partnerships at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, delivering sustainable intervention models across diverse education systems. Mary holds credentials in Adult Learning and Development from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and studied at McGill University. Her career reflects a passion for education, community development, and empowering individuals through tailored learning strategies.
