Sukhdeep S. Sidhu is a Partner at KMB Law and a key member of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial practice group. He primarily focuses on Franchise, Retail and Distribution Law, and Business and Estate Succession Law. Sukhdeep provides comprehensive legal advice to new, emerging, and established Canadian and international franchisors on all aspects of Canadian franchise law. This includes drafting and preparing franchise agreements, disclosure documents, and master franchise agreements, as well as managing franchisor relationships.
In addition, Sukhdeep regularly assists franchisees with the review and negotiation of disclosure documents and franchise agreements. He represents franchisees in the purchase and sale of single and multi-unit franchises. Sukhdeep has extensive experience with incorporations, asset and share purchase and sale transactions, corporate reorganizations, and drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts. These contracts include shareholders agreements, license agreements, supplier agreements, and distribution agreements, catering to small and medium-sized businesses.
