Mahmoud Chahrour is a seasoned franchising veteran who began his journey in January 1992 as a Subway franchisee/operator in Hull, Quebec, Canada. Together with his brother, he developed, owned, and operated five Subway restaurants in Hull and Montreal between 1992 and 1997. In 1997, Mahmoud joined Subway International as a Regional Director for the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa, where he successfully developed and launched the Subway brand in over 22 countries and territories, including two in Europe.
In 2008, Mahmoud returned to Canada and further expanded the Subway brand in key locations around Montreal. Since 2013, he has been instrumental in assisting numerous businesses in the Middle East and Canada, across all sectors, to become franchises. Additionally, Mahmoud has helped existing businesses improve their operational standards and establish strategic development plans.
Mahmoud is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) who adheres to the franchising codes of ethics set by the International Franchise Association (IFA), the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA), and the Conseil Quebecois de la Franchise (CQF).
